Black Spot Snooker Grand Prix II (December 2025)
The Black Spot Snooker Grand Prix II was played at THE BLACK SPOT, in Guéliz, Marrakech, from 11 to 15 December 2025. Saad El Antri, runner-up of the first edition, won the title by beating Omar Yakoubi 6–5 in the final. The 75-player draw used a new format, with players seeded according to their results in the first edition.

The second edition of the Grand Prix
A year after the first Black Spot Snooker Grand Prix, THE BLACK SPOT announced the second edition in November 2025 with a promise of a “new format, better conditions, same stage”. The tournament ran over five days, from Thursday 11 December at 10:00 to Monday 15 December 2025, on the club's tables in Guéliz. The club ran the draw on the CueScore tournament platform, where all 75 players and every score were published.
A seeded format built on the first edition
Players were placed in three seed groups. Group A was for the 16 players who reached the last 16 of the first edition, group B for the 16 who reached the last 32, and group C for everyone else, whether they had gone out earlier in 2024 or had not played at all. Group C started in the first round, group B joined in the third round and group A in the last 32.
The club published the group A and B lists on 21 November 2025. Group A opened with the four semi-finalists of 2024: Salah Ktila, Saad El Antri, Mourad Naitali and Younes El Fatihi. The early rounds were best of 5 frames, every match from the last 32 to the quarter-finals was best of 7, the semi-finals were best of 9 and the final best of 11.
The Qualif, with Living Pool Marrakech
On Saturday 22 November 2025, THE BLACK SPOT and Living Pool Marrakech, another billiards club in the city, joined forces for “The Qualif”, presented as an official collaboration between the two clubs. Sixteen players paid 100 MAD each to compete for two qualifying places, with Lemaire Interview as media partner.
Results: Saad El Antri wins a 6–5 final
A year after losing the first final, Saad El Antri won the Grand Prix II without dropping a match: 4–0 against Zakaria Koumairi in the last 32, 4–3 against Mohamed Ettaghi in the last 16, 4–1 against Yassine Bellamine in the quarter-finals, 5–2 against Reda Rahhali in the semi-finals and 6–5 against Omar Yakoubi in the final.
Omar Yakoubi, a group B seed, reached the final from the third round and knocked out the 2024 champion Salah Ktila 5–2 in the semi-finals. Reda Rahhali, who started in the first round, went all the way to the other semi-final.
On the tables
The club shared highlights of the first day on 11 December. Among the players was Yousra Matine, whom THE BLACK SPOT had celebrated in July 2025 as African champion at the Africa Snooker Championship 2025; she later posted a clearance she made during this second edition.
